Disney

I used the Mickey Tag from the Mickey Font for the title on these pages...

At Epcot we ate at the Nine Dragons restaurant...the kids had fun discovering China.

Hope you enjoy!

Hats off to Disney

On our second trip to Disney...we had fun trying on all of the different hats at all of the stores.  Because I had so many pictures...I decided to do those pages as more of a collage with no embellishments.

Disney Sweet Disney

We have been to Disney 2 times.  I am working on my second trip now...I don't think I will ever be done with Disney pages.  I have the Mickey Font cartridge and the Mickey and Friends cartridge.
Here are some pages in my book...

There are so many cute papers and stickers out there for Disney.  I have so many pics to scrap for Disney that I tried to be more simple with my design...and just tried to jazz things up with color and embellishments.
Mickey Font used on this page.  I also used the Minnie Face from the same Cricut cartridge...cut it in red and backed it up with white cardstock.
I used the Mickey Font cricut cartridge to make Pluto's layered face..and bones....and saying..."That Dog."

Decorating Children's Board Books

Have any old children's board books?.  If so...hang on to them and make them into a cute little scrapbook.  They come in so many sizes and shapes.  You can even get the board books with a cute little handle and tie ribbon off it.  I used the Kaleidoscope Girlz paper by...the angel company.

The first thing I did was cover the outside and then add a solid blue binding, so it looked like a book.  I added some stickers, cutouts, and a button to the front.

On each page I did the same thing I did to the cover.  I put down paper then added embellishments.  I never added pictures...was thinking about giving it as a gift.  That way...they could put in their own pics.  I think it would be a great gift to give a younger girl.  They could add pictures of their friends.  I loved all of the bright colors and patterns this paper offered.  Take a look below at the pages. Hope you like it!

Room Organization

As I buy more and more paper...I find that organization is a must...if I ever want to find anything.  So I have some of my loose solids in this organizer.

For my patterned paper.  I sort by color and put into a large ziploc bag.  Anything that comes together in a stack I leave...and then I put all of these together in a crate.  I also put themed paper together in a ziploc.  For example...all of the sports themed go in one ziploc and all of the school related papers go in another.  It seems to be working for me so far...maybe if I stopped buying paper...I wouldn't have to be so organized! :)

New Scrapbook Room

So...my scrapbook room was downstairs until about a month ago...then I switched rooms with my teenage son...he went downstairs...and I took the room upstairs.  I am in the process of putting everything in the right spot/space.  I wanted to share this idea I saw in a magazine.  I purchased a curtain rod and then took some of my pages and daughter's art work to decorate one of my walls.  I then cut out the saying..."Every picture has a story to tell..." out of vinyl and put it up underneath the pages.  In the next couple of days I will post other organization/decorating ideas from my room.
